The managing editor of the Insight Newspaper, Kwesi Pratt Junior, has disclosed a sad reality to the people of Ghana prior to the celebration of Ghana’s 65th independence parade. Kwesi Pratt spoke on authority that the founding fathers of Ghana never envisaged that Ghana will find difficulty in mobilizing students for a parade in 65 years’ time. He argued that the founding fathers never imagined that Ghana, their beloved country will be engulfed in huge debts.
He further continued that, none of the founding fathers ever dreamt that it will get to the time when one of the old political activists will state unequivocally that Ghana was better off when in colonialism. He further explained that Kwame Nkrumah never envisaged that Ghana will export virtually everything which can be produced in this country.
